A Kuwaiti Ciizen Attempts To Stamp Passports Of His Absent Wife, Son

Passport officers at Salmi border checkpoint referred a Kuwaiti citizen to General Department for Residency Investigations after he was caught attempting to stamp the passports of his wife of GCC nationality and his son even though they were not with him, reports Al-Anba daily. According to a security source, the citizen arrived at the border checkpoint from Saudi Arabia and passport officers demanded for the fingerprints of his wife. The citizen said his wife was sick but when officers checked the vehicle, they were surprised to find it empty. The source revealed that the passports of his wife and son were stamped at the Saudi border checkpoint, stating their departure. Securitymen are conducting investigations to determine whether the citizen’s wife and son are in Kuwait or not.
