A Jordanian Man Gets 15 Years In Jail For Raping His 13-year-old Cousin 59 Times

Jordanian media reported that a man has been sentenced to fifteen years in prison for raping his cousin, aged 13, 59 times.

The Court of Cassation found that the accused, who was found guilty in December 2021, committed the crime in order to watch over the victim and her sister when the victim's mother left them in the accused's home while he and his wife were not around.

According to the court, the accused has committed 59 statutory rapes since the start of 2021, all of which involved the victim's consent, and her mother filed a complaint when she learned what happened.

An arrest warrant was issued for the defendant and he was sentenced to fifteen years of hard labor. According to the victim, the wife had not participated in the crime and had no knowledge of what was happening. Consequently, the wife of the accused was found not guilty of rape and indecent assault.
