Gang Was Arrested In India Who Operate Individuals To Change Fingerprints And Enter Kuwait Illegally

Two persons who performed illicit fingerprint procedures to assist expatriate employees re-enter Kuwait have been apprehended by Telangana Police. Four people, including a radiologist and an anesthesia technician, as well as two individuals who had previously worked as construction workers in Kuwait, were reportedly involved in the scam, according to an Indian media report. To accomplish the procedures, the team reportedly cuts the fingertip's outer layer, removes a portion of the tissue, and then stitches it back together.

The process made it easier for people who were expelled from Kuwait for illegal behavior to elude the law. According to Indian authorities, at least 11 such procedures to alter fingerprint patterns have been performed in Rajasthan and Kerala at a cost of Indian Rupee 25,000 each.

According to the authorities, those who underwent the procedures would then have their fingerprints changed as part of India's unique identity system Aadhaar and submit a new application for a visa to Kuwait with a new address.
