A Defect In The Radar Of Kuwait Airport Diverts The Turkish Route To Baghdad

A Turkish Airlines plane diverted its landing path to Baghdad International Airport instead of Kuwait Airport due to a technical failure in Kuwait Airport’s radar.

Sources Revealed that the control tower at Kuwait Airport informed the plane that the plane’s locator was out of service and asked it to divert its route to another airport.

The sources added that the plane is now on the runway of Baghdad airport, ready to return to the airport if the Kuwaiti authorities are informed of the airport’s readiness to receive it after fixing the defect.
