A 200-dinar Bonus Will Be Given To Kuwaiti And Gulf Secondary Teachers
It was approved by the Civil Service Commission that Kuwaiti and Gulf female mathematics teachers working in secondary schools would receive the rare specialization allowance after their share of overall employees decreased to 27.5%.
In an Arabic newspaper, it was announced that teachers with rare specializations will receive 200 dinars in allowance retroactively from the beginning of the school year 2021-2022 (last October). The Kuwait Education Ministry's administrative sector has started disbursing the funds to eligible Kuwaiti and Gulf teachers since last Thursday, according to informed sources.
The daily, which has obtained a copy of the official statistics, has obtained that the number of teachers in the intermediate and secondary levels entitled to receive the rare specializing allowance has increased to 1,678 female and male teachers. Male teachers are qualified to specialize in Arabic, English, French, mathematics, science, and physics, chemistry, and biology, while female teachers are eligible to specialize in mathematics and physics.
There are plans for the Ministry of Education to issue decisions this week to include the bonuses for the newly added teachers, and to upload that information and send it to the integrated systems in preparation for the financial sector to retroactively disburse the money and deposit it in the respective bank accounts.
Kuwait's Civil Service Commission has decided to grant rare specialization allowances to members of Kuwait's educational authority and citizens of GCC countries during the academic year 2021-2022.
