A Kuwaiti family stranded at sea on a launchboat for more than 35 hours has been rescued, announced Ministry of Interior on Tuesday.
In a grueling rescue operation that lasted about nine hours, Kuwaiti naval forces were able to locate and subsequently rescue the family, who were then rushed to a medical facility for treatment and are reported to be in a critical condition.Â
The Interior Ministry urged all people to exercise total caution while at sea and to dial 1880888 or 112 in case of any emergency situations.
