During The Pandemic, 97,802 Indians Left Kuwait

Sibi George, the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, reported that around 98,000 Indians who departed Kuwait during the outbreak had returned to work. According to data released by the Indian government's Foreign Ministry, the pandemic prompted more than 700,000 Indian employees from Gulf nations to return to their homes in India.

Some of the employees who emigrated during the epidemic have returned, as flights between India and Kuwait are now available on a regular basis. According to Al Rai, the Indian embassy in Kuwait has been open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist emergency cases.


According to information published by the UAE, 330,058 people returned to India followed by Saudi Arabia with 137,900, Kuwait with 97,802 and Oman with 72,259 people.
