97,000 E-shopping Reservations Recorded Yesterday
The Ministry of Trade and Industry revealed that the total of e-shopping reservations recorded yesterday 97,290 appointments in cooperative societies, parallel markets and catering branches, where 42,435 people attended.
The «Trade» said in a statement that cooperative societies recorded 45,212 reservations by attending 25,279, or 53 percent, and the total reservation of dates for parallel markets reached 39081 reservations, with a percentage of 16484 attending 48 percent, indicating that the reservation of catering branches amounted to 3997 reservations With a attendance of 672, or 21 percent.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry announced the monitoring of 62 associations, central markets, shops and pharmacies during its inspection tours and monitoring 80 catering branches to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries, and to determine the extent of their commitment and to maintain the stability of product prices.
The ministry said, today, Saturday, that its inspection teams’ rounds continue to work, in light of the decisions in place regarding the procedures concerned to face the repercussions of the spread of Coronavirus (SARS Cove-2) infection that causes (Covid-19).
She stated that her emergency center had received 174 complaints via the hotline (135), in addition to editing the minutes of violating commercial stores, stressing the need to adhere to the law because of the exceptional circumstance that the country is going through, and that it will be its lookout teams for anyone who misuses himself to exploit the current circumstance
