92,000 Teachers, Administrators To Receive Kd 60 Million In ‘excellent Award’
The Finance Sector of the Ministry of Education, has completed procedures to deposit approximately KD 60 million in the Ministry’s Central Bank of Kuwait account, which will be disbursed to those eligible for the excellent work award.
Responsible sources told Al-Qabas that the Ministry of Finance had agreed a few days ago to the Education Ministry request for financial support to pay excellent work rewards to more than 92,000 teachers and administrators for the academic year 2020-2021.
The sources said some banks have already started depositing the reward money in the accounts of those who deserve it, and the rest of the banks will follow suit tomorrow, Thursday.
The sources indicated the Ministry of Education will open the door for accepting grievances electronically next Sunday, if any, from the more than 25,000 non-eligible employees.
The ministry has set a 60 days timeframe to receive grievances.
