80 Thousand Domestic Workers Will Return To Kuwait Within 5 Months
While the Council of Ministers assigned the concerned authorities to complete the legal aspects and detailed procedures for the return of domestic workers to the country directly from the banned countries, an informed source told «Al-Qabas» that the total employment expected to return once the official decisions are issued is 80,000 domestic workers, who return within 4 to 4 Approximately 5 months.
The source added to "Al-Qabas" that the perceptions presented within the plan for the return of employment include the arrival of 600 workers on two trips daily, with strict health procedures put in place to be examined before their arrival to the country and after their arrival, and then they spend the institutional quarantine period.
Regarding the health measures taken, the source stated that the initial vision presented in the plan is that a worker's pcr examination be done before his arrival to the country, and then examined upon his arrival by the medical and technical staff at Kuwait International Airport, provided that the pcr examination is performed after the worker has spent two weeks from Stone.
The source stated that the competent authorities have coordinated with the Hotels Association to discuss their readiness to allocate some hotels and buildings to be quarries for domestic workers.
The source emphasized that all the presented scenarios were not finally approved and are still being discussed in the relevant committees.
