71 Arrested And 18536 Traffic Violations Issued In Traffic Campaigns

The traffic sector conducted campaigns throughout the six governorates recently led to the issuance of 18536 citations, impounding of 189 vehicles, 17 motorcycles seized, 5 vehicles recovered, arrest of 71 individuals who committed major traffic violations and referral of 3 persons to the Deportation Center for driving without driving license, The department affirmed these campaigns are ongoing round the clock in all parts of the country in a bid to strictly implement the traffic regulations and to protect the road users.
