7 Years Jail To Gcc Couple For Cheating Kuwait Government

The Criminal Court sentenced two GCC citizens (a man and a woman) to seven-year imprisonment and ordered them to repay the salaries they received illegally.

The first suspect (the man) working in Ministry of Defense after providing fake documents including Kuwaiti Civil ID card to prove he is a Kuwaiti citizen.

He had applied for a military job with these documents, taking advantage of the good intention of the relevant employee who accepted his application. He was also accused of obtaining fake driving license and educational certificate.

The second suspect (the woman) was also accused of submitting fake documents to prove she is a Kuwaiti citizen, and received salary and allowance from Ministry of Social Affairs illegally
