607 New Covid-19 Cases, Single Fatality

Over the last 24 hours, 607 more Kuwaitis tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the country's caseload to 619,310. According to minister spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al- Sanad, 1,788 more people recovered from the virus, raising the total to 60,6657 who have overcome the disease. The percentage of positive cases to those who have recovered stands at 98 percent. Health ministry data show 212 people are hospitalized with the virus, including 62 who require intensive care, after one death has been linked to the virus, bringing the country's death toll from the pandemic to 25,37. The spokesman noted that 22,447 swab tests had been completed over the last day, out of the total so far of 7,626,573.
