60,000 Food Baskets Were Distributed To Workers During Ramadan

The Director of Public Relations and Media at the Red Crescent Society, Khaled Al-Zaid, confirmed that the association will continue to distribute breakfast meals in a number of employment areas in Kuwait, including the Amghara area, as part of its annual program “Iftar Al-fasting.”

Al-Zaid told The association distributes 2000 food baskets daily to workers in all regions of Kuwait, pointing to the distribution of 60,000 meals to workers during the holy month of Ramadan.

He pointed out that today, 2000 food baskets will be distributed to workers in the Amghara region.

He mentioned that the association distributed 2000 meals to workers and security guards in a number of regions and institutions within the campaign.

He pointed out that the breakfast of the fasting program, which the association is keen to implement annually inside and outside Kuwait, aims to meet the needs of the poor and needy fasting through the distribution of breakfast meals or food parcels.

It is noteworthy that the “Iftar Al-fasting” program comes within a group of activities that reflect the social responsibility of the Association, which it is keen on, especially in the holy month of Ramadan. Also, this step comes as an affirmation of the human values ​​and the true spirit of the Holy Month, and an appreciation for those workers who lack the family atmosphere, considering it as part of the association’s activities aimed at creating more intimacy and rapprochement between members of society.
