600 Red Light Violations Daily In Kuwait

Hundreds of people jump the traffic lights across Kuwait on average daily, exposing themselves and others to danger.
According to security sources, 600 people fail to stop at the red light – an average of 25 violators per hour.
The planning and research department at the General Directorate of Traffic, the number of red life offences have so far reached 145, 000 over the past ten months.
The official statistics showed women drivers were involved in 27% of the overall number of red-light violations.
