540,000 Took Booster Dose

The total number of people who received the third booster dose in the country reaches about 540,000. This amount to a daily average of more than 15,000 people, sources said.

Large turnout of people, both those with appointment and those above 50 without appointment, was seen at the Mishref fairground vaccination center.

The Ministry of Health has increased the number of medical and nursing staff at the vaccination centers to keep pace with the huge turnout. The Red Crescent Society has also increased the number of volunteers, and the Ministry of Interior has also deployed its members to help organize the smooth process.

The booster dose is given from the Hall No. 6, while Hall 5 is allocated to those wishing to receive the first and second doses.
