5 Year Imprisonment For Blogger

The Criminal Court sentenced in absentia blogger Saqer Al- Hashash to five-year imprisonment with hard labor for posting messages deemed offensive to the entity of His Highness the Amir on his Twitter account, says Al-Seyassah. The Public Prosecution had pressed the charges against the blogger after it was notified by the Ministry of Interior.
