5 Rescued As Boat Sinks In Choppy Seas

The Coast Guard and Marine Rescue personnel rescued 5 Kuwaitis after their boat sank four miles off Al-Dabaia due to bad weather. According to a security source, the Operations Room received a report about the sinking of a boat with five 5 citizens onboard and immediately the Coast Guard and the Marine Fire Force boars headed to the site and rescued the men who were holding on to their sinking boat. All of them are believed to be in good condition. Meanwhile, three young men escaped after a fire engulfed their vehicle in a suburb of Jahra.

According to a security source, when they stopped at a traffic light they saw smoke coming from the bonnet and quickly got out of the car before the car was engulfed by fl ames. The fire was put out by firemen. No casualties have been reported. The cause of the fire is not known.
