48 Hours Detention For Over Speeding

The interior ministry’s relations and security information department’s acting Director General Brig Tawheed Al-Kandari warned about strict punishments against speeding motorists. Those who drive over 170 km/h will be detained for 48 hours and their cars will be impounded for endangering others and themselves.
It is reported that grave violations occur usually at weekends and more than 30 persons are detained for driving above 170 km/h speed.
