4.5 Million Appointments Registered During Coronavirus Crisis
The Ministry of Commerce (MoCI) announced the end of the shopping appointment system, after more than 4.5 million appointments were registered since the launch of the website, Al Qabas said.
MoCI urged citizens and expats to make appointments online for reserving shopping appointments in cooperative societies and various shopping outlets during the total lockdown prior to going grocery shopping through the website www.moci.shop.
MoCI said on its official account on Twitter, “Thank you everyone who used the system since the start of its implementation on April 14 until its end, and it reached more than 4.5 million reservations.”
The statement read out, “It was chosen by Amazon as the best innovative program in the Middle East and North Africa during the coronavirus period,” adding, “it was a source of pride that the system, during its 138 days contributed to serving all citizens and expats of Kuwait.”
