419,421 Expat Workers Under Government Projects

Around 419,421 workers are working for various government contracts. 4,497 contracts were given to companies for carrying out various government projects in the last 10 years and about 1,348 companies have more than 100 workers for government projects, The Minister of Social Affairs and Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Maryam Al-Aqeel, revealed.

The number of expatriates who hold residency under the heading of government projects and whose residency has expired reached about 28,748 workers.
