Local media reported that a Kuwaiti man filed a police complaint alleging 40 sheep were stolen from his desert rest house during the sunset break of the day-long fast that occurs every evening during Ramadan, the holy Islamic month.

Al Anba reported that while the guard was away eating dinner with a friend at his iftar meal, unknown thieves entered the complainant's property by climbing its wall while it was at Al Mutla in Al Jahra governorate in western Kuwait.

According to him, the thieves led the stolen sheep to an unknown location.

In response to the man's complaint, police set out on a hunt to find the sheep before they are sold.
