4 Incoming Flights Were Diverted As Dead Dog Shuts Runway

Four incoming flights were yesterday redirected to land in Bahrain and UAE after a dog’s carcass was found on Kuwait airport’s only operational runway, local daily Kuwait Times reported. The flights resumed after the carcass was removed. The airport’s western runway is currently under maintenance and the eastern runway is the only one operational until the end of this month.
