4 Dead And 3 Injured In Two Accidents
4 People were killed, yesterday as a result of two separate traffic accidents that occurred on the Fifth Ring Road, which also resulted in the injury of 3 others, who were seriously injured, and were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
Director of the Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Brigade, Colonel Muhammad Al-Gharib, the Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a report yesterday evening, stating that a four-wheel drive vehicle had capsized on the Fifth Ring Road.
Al-Gharib added that upon receiving the report, the Martyrs’ Fire Station was moved to the report site, pointing out that the firefighters upon their arrival discovered that the accident was a reversal of a four-wheel-drive vehicle with three people jammed inside. The firefighters worked to remove them using hydraulic cutting equipment, and it turned out that two They died, and the third was seriously injured.
He explained that the firefighters delivered the bodies of the deceased, two citizens, to the Forensic Evidence Department, and they were transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department, while emergency medical technicians transported the injured to the hospital for treatment.
Regarding the other incident, a security source told that the operations room received a report yesterday morning, stating that there was a triple collision accident on the Fifth Ring Road between two vehicles and a motorcycle.
The source added that upon receiving the report, the Traffic Operations Department patrols were directed to the al-Balagh site, and it was found that the accident resulted in the death of two citizens who were riding a motorbike, in addition to the injury of an Asian expatriate and a citizen who were seriously injured.
He pointed out that the forensic officers came to the report site, and the two bodies were removed and referred to the Forensic Medicine Department, while emergency medical technicians transported the injured to the hospital.
