3d Detection Of Passengers Bodies At The Airport

According to alrai media The General Administration of Civil Aviation seeks to support security measures at Kuwait International Airport by providing it with 3D scanners for passengers’ bodies.

In this regard, informed sources told that the administration “addressed the relevant authorities to obtain their approval regarding launching a tender for the supply, installation, operation and maintenance of the MILLIMETER WAVE TECHNOLOGY body detection devices at Kuwait Airport.”
The sources pointed out that “the devices that will be contracted work with full-body scanning technology, which is a technique used for inspection purposes at airports and in other places that require high security control.”

The sources emphasized “the importance of these devices in securing the airport, as well as facilitating the process of inspecting the traveler and discovering any objects he carries, without the need for manual inspection,” noting “the use of such technology in airports in a number of Arab and Western countries.”
