32879 Citations Issued In Traffic Campaigns

The traffic sector conducted campaigns throughout the six governorates from Oct 2 to Oct 8, 2016, these campaigns led to the issuance of 32879 citations , impounding of 666 vehicles , arrest of 7 individuals who committed major traffic violations and referral of 6 expatriates to the Deportation Center for driving without driving license. The department affirmed these campaigns are ongoing round the clock in all parts of the country in a bid to strictly implement the traffic regulations and to protect the road users.
