30 Million Dinars Worth Of Cheques Bounce

From January to the end of June 2022, 1,973 cheques bounced for lack of balance in Kuwait, an increase of 275 over the same period in 2021.

A local Arabic newspaper reports that the bounced checks were worth about 30 million dinars, compared to 24.1 million dinars last year.

During the first half of this year, 1,303 customers submitted such checks, compared to 1,245 during the same period in 2021.
