3 Saudi Brothers Arrested For Smuggling Cigarettes

Customs officers arrested three Saudi brothers for attempting to smuggle 1,915 packages of cigarettes loaded in three cars and valued at KD 16,000, reports Al-Rai daily. Customs officers assigned at Nuwaiseeb border suspected the three Saudi brothers who attempted to smuggle the cigarettes which they intend to sell in their country at a high price. A security source revealed the Customs General Department impounded the cars of the brothers with the intention of selling these vehicles through auction as penalty for tax evasion.
