3 Persons Were Arrested With Weapons And Ammunition Carrying Extremist Ideology
Confirming what “Al-Qabas” was alone in publishing, over the course of three consecutive days, about seizing a group of events that deceived them by the Islamic State (ISIS), and found in their possession weapons and ammunition, the Ministry of Interior confirmed that within its various sectors tireless efforts to confront crime, track down criminals and confront them with determination The security services have arrested two minors, ages 15 and 16, and another adult possessing unlicensed weapons and ammunition and carrying extremist ideology.
The ministry said in a statement that, based on cooperation between the competent security agencies and after searching and investigating outlaws, one of the accused was arrested, and he admitted that he had met a person through a social media program, and discussions and dialogues took place between them, which showed that they carry the same extremist ideology.
She pointed out that after conducting further investigations, intensifying search and investigation operations and gathering information, two other people were arrested, one of them was a juvenile carrying the same extremist ideology, and after taking the necessary legal permission, their home was searched, and weapons, unlicensed ammunition, logos and photographic devices were found.
And it indicated that, in confronting them with what was attributed to them, they acknowledged and confessed that they possessed weapons and ammunition.
The Ministry called on parents to pay attention to children, approach them, listen to their concerns, discuss, advise and follow-up on them when using social media sites so that they do not fall under the penalty of the law and extremist ideas and sites that call for the publication of everything that violates the law among youth groups.
"Al-Qabas" had published that the security services had managed to seize 6 minors, all of whom were subjected to investigation. A source stated that 3 of them were released after it was proven that they were not involved in the case.
