3 People Injured In A Warehouse Fire In Sulaibiya

Two people and a firefighter suffered from suffocation and heat exhaustion, as a result of a large fire that broke out yesterday in two warehouses in the Sulaibiya agricultural area. The accident also resulted in heavy material losses to the stored goods.

The Director of the Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Service, Colonel Muhammad Al-Gharib, said that as a result of a report to the Operations Room, the Sulaibikhat, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Al-Tahrir, and Sabhan Al-Sinai fire stations were moved to the site of the fire, which turned out to be in two warehouses containing foodstuffs, wood, oils and highly flammable materials. The area of ​​the two warehouses is approximately 10,000 square meters, pointing out that the fires consumed approximately 2,000 square meters of the total area.

The firefighters were able to contain the fire, control it, and prevent it from reaching other locations in the two warehouses.
