5 Biometric Centers For Kuwaitis And Gcc Citizens, Two For Expats

On Thursday, June 1, the Directorate General of Criminal Evidence opened three new biometric centers. With this, the total number of biometric centers allocated for Kuwaitis and Gulf nationals has increased to five. Their working hours will be from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, reports Al-Qabas daily. There are five security directorates for Kuwaitis and GCC citizens: Hawally Security Directorate, Farwaniya Security Directorate, Ahmadi Security Directorate, Mubarak Al- Kabeer Security Directorate, and Jahra Security Directorate.

Resident centers are located in Ali Sabah Al-Salem and Jahra. A statement from the Ministry of Interior Directorate General for Security Relations and Media confirms that the opening of the new biometric centers is part of its strategy to develop and automate public services, facilitate and serve the public in a way that saves time and effort, and enhances performance and achievement.

The Sahel app (Mata platform) allows citizens and residents to schedule appointments for biometric registration at these centers. Gulf Cooperation Council citizens can book appointments through the Ministry of Interior's website.
