The Director of the Public Relations and Security Media Department at the Ministry of Interior, Brig Gen Tawheed Al-Kandari, clarified that the decision only pertains to business visas.

During the pandemic time, the MoI had extended the validity of business visas to six months.However, the period of validity of business visas has been changed to three months as of last Sunday (March 20).

Currently, family visas can only be issued to certain applicants who meet certain conditions, he said.
