3 Asians Including A Woman Areested For Manufacturing Alcohol

Acting on a tip-off and armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, securitymen raided a house in Sabah Al-Ahmad City and arrested three Indians, including a woman for manufacturing alcohol. Police have confiscated 160 drums of raw material and 300 bottles of booze and alcohol manufacturing equipment. Farwaniya police have arrested two Indians one of them a roaming taxi driver for trafficking in locally-manufactured alcohol. A police patrol on routine duty in the area suspected the two men and ordered the driver to pull over. However he ignored the request and stepped on the gas pedal in a vain attempt to escape. Police have seized 71 bottles of local booze from the trunk of the car.
