2nd Semester Of Colleges And Institutes Will Resume From Next Sunday
Testing for the coronavirus has been very much in the news. The first and most urgent focus is on increasing access to tests to diagnose people with current infections. Doctors use PCR test to diagnose people who are currently sick with COVID-19. This is the one we've been hearing so much about.
How it works:Â
This test uses a sample of mucus typically taken from a person's nose or throat. The test also work on saliva.It looks for the genetic material of the coronavirus. The test uses a technology called PCR (polymerase chain reaction), which greatly amplifies the viral genetic material if it is present. That material is detectable when a person is actively infected. According to the Public health authorities of kuwait ,instructions is been given to all passengers arriving from India to Kuwait International Airport to submit a (PCR) certificate in the English language issued by one of the accredited laboratories. The validity of the certificate should not exceed 4 days(96 hours) from the test date. Health authorities are taking preventive measures to prevent the spread of corona Virus. Accredited laboratories mentioned below: click here The Dean of Admission and Registration at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, Dr. Meshaal Al-Mansouri, announced the resumption of studies for the second semester of the year (2019-2020) for colleges and institutes through the authority’s electronic educational platform, starting next Sunday.
Al-Mansouri stressed in a press statement today, Thursday, the necessity for male and female students to abide by the previously scheduled lecture dates with the attendance and absence controls followed in the study regulations approved in colleges and institutes.
He added that the remote study is a new experience for the students of the authority under the current circumstances, explaining that it will facilitate the interaction of everyone with it, to make it successful, to complete the requirements of its supplementary chapter and to achieve the required positive result, after the electronic training that the faculty, training and students received on the application of (Microsoft Teams) program And the application (Moodle) and (Microsoft) program.
He indicated that the period for applying for applications to change specialization and transferring between applied colleges for the first semester (2020-2021) will be during the period from August 23 to next September 3, wishing all students and students success and success.
He pointed out that the period of final exams for colleges and institutes will be during the period from September 26 to next October 6, adding that the rest of the dates related to study and training in colleges and institutes are on the authority’s website.
Al-Mansouri affirmed the (practical) keenness of its students on the future of its students and affiliates of its colleges and institutes, pointing out that the authority is working to overcome all the difficulties that may prevent the authority’s students from completing their studies comfortably.
