Twenty-six pilots and employees working with the national carrier, Kuwait Airways, have tendered their resignation.

They submitted a joint letter to the Kuwait Airways Deputy Chief Executives for Operations, outlining the causes which pushed them to resign.

The board of directors held an urgent meeting with four pilots who represented the group and discussed their resignation.

A committee comprising board members and officials from the executive management was established to discuss the pilots’ demands, without violating the regulations set by the civil aviation authority, and the international technical standards.
