230 Filipinos Arrive At The Deportation Center In The First Batch

In cooperation and coordination with the Philippine Embassy, the Public Authority for Manpower, and the General Administration for Residence Affairs Investigations, the Filipino OFWs were evacuated yesterday from the Philippine embassy shelter. According to security sources, the deportation center has received the first batch of 230 OFWs.

Sources told Al-Qabas that the 230 workers represent the first of three batches that will be deported to Manila in the coming days, after completing the procedures and fingerprinting.

The Philippine embassy will cover all travel costs and the 230 Filipinos will be deported within 72 hours of arriving at Talha.
