2 Kuwaitis And 2 Indian Expatriates Were Arrested In Possession Of Drugs
Two Kuwaitis and Two Indian Expats held with drugs in Sabah Al-Salem, Fintas and Mahboula areas in separate incidents. According to security sources, Special Task Force Department had intensified inspections based on strict instructions from the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah. Officers from the department were patrolling Fintas area when they stopped a vehicle with two occupants and checked the latter’s details to discover they are Kuwaiti citizens.
Sensing their disoriented states, the officers checked the vehicle to find six sachets of marijuana and eight cigarettes rolled with hashish. The suspects were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal measures against them. Meanwhile, an Indian expatriate was arrested in Mahboula area in possession of a sachet of cocaine. Another Indian expatriate was arrested in Sabah Al-Salem area in possession of narcotic pills. Both suspects were also referred to the concerned authorities for investigations and necessary legal action against them.
