2 Iranian Nationals Arrested In Possession Of Illicit Drugs

A patrol affiliated to Farwaniya Security Command apprehended two Iranian nationals in possession of illicit drugs, reports Al-Anba daily. The officers were on a round of Abdullah Mubarak Area when they spotted two individuals loitering on the sidewalk and approached them for checking. It was then the officers noticed the duo was in a disoriented state. The first suspect threw a paper containing a white substance believed to be illicit drug. They also found on the second suspect a piece of cigarette stuffed with illicit drug while conducting precautionary search on them. They were referred to the concerned authority. driver of a US-made vehicle aroused the suspicion of securitymen along Salem Al-Mubarak Street in Salmiya area due to erratic manner in which his vehicle was moving, and later discovered the man and his companion (both citizens) were at a complete loss. The officers recovered a packet of illicit pills from the duo and referred them to Drug Prosecution
