Two citizens have been arrested for breaking into parked vehicles to steal their contents, reports Al-Rai daily. In details, two Egyptian guards at a commercial complex in Hawalli spotted the two suspects loitering near a vehicle. They discovered the duo was trying to steal and called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry. Security patrols arrived at the scene and arrested them. A security source said the suspects were referred to Hawalli police station where they were found to be citizens, and then confronted with surveillance cameras. They did not find a way to deny the charges against them, so they admitted carrying out seven successful robberies. One of them is wanted by law as he had been sentenced in absentia to five years’ imprisonment.
