2 Asians Were Arrested For Selling Foreign And Local Liquor In Two Different Cases

Farwaniya securitymen arrested an Indian for trading in liquor with eight bottles of imported alcoholic drinks and 20 bottles of locally manufactured liquor in his possession, says Al-Seyassah. In compliance with the instruction of Farwaniya Security Director Major General Saleh Matar, the securitymen intensified efforts to track down criminals.

While patrolling the area, they noticed the suspicious behavior of the Indian who was carrying a nylon bag. The officers approached him for routine inspection and they discovered that the bag contained the above-mentioned items. The suspect was referred to the police station in the area where he admitted to selling liquor. A case was registered against him.

Meanwhile, officers from Khaitan Police Station arrested an Asian for selling liquor with 38 bottles of locally brewed alcoholic drinks in his possession. The arrest came after the head of the police station received information on the illegal activity of the suspect who confessed that he was waiting for a client to deliver some bottles of liquor. A case was registered and the suspect was referred to the concerned security department along with the confiscated items
