192 Suspected Coronavirus Cases Of Kuwaitis Who Returned From Abroad Were Referred To Quarantine In Jaber Hospital

A total of 192 suspected coronavirus cases of Kuwaiti citizens who returned from abroad were referred to quarantine in Jaber Hospital Arabic daily Al Rai reported. Several flights brought back Kuwaitis stranded abroad in various countries affected by the coronavirus, as part of the first phase of repatriation which concluded yesterday.

The daily remarked that the total suspected coronavirus cases in the first phase of the evacuation process that started last Wednesday until Sunday, was 192 suspected cases, with 35 cases among those returning from Tehran, 5 cases from those returning from Beirut, 33 from Cairo flights, and 4 from Bahrain, 4 from Frankfurt, 7 from Spain, 68 from London, 15 from Paris, 3 from Abu Dhabi, 5 from Italy and 13 from New York.

The paper said that the arrivals went through a medical examination on the last evacuation planes from London and resulted in the transfer of 32 cases to Jaber Hospital, including 11 suspected coronavirus infection cases, which were transferred to quarantine, while 16 cases went to the emergency department, and 5 cases entered into the general ward. 43 Passengers from Paris were transferred cases to Jaber Hospital, including 15 suspected coronavirus cases sent to quarantine, 17 cases to the emergency department in the hospital, and 11 cases to the general wards.
