19 Domestic Labor Office Licences Cancelled

The Ministry of Interior is currently contemplating on the cancellation of 19 licenses issued to domestic labor offices whose owners were implicated in the alleged deception of Zimbabwean women who were promised jobs with better pay only to find out later that they were hired as housemaids, reports Al Anba daily quoting sources. Sources explained this is based on the decision of the Legal Affair Department.

A diplomatic crisis erupted following a sit-in by the relatives of the Zimbabwean women at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Harare — the capital of Zimbabwe. Sources confirmed the Kuwaiti government has taken measures to send the Zimbabwean women back home
