1,856,390 Residence Renewed Online

The Ministry of Interior completed 595,764 online residency renewal procedures from Sept 29 to Oct 5; bringing the total of completed transactions since the launching of the service to 1,856,390.

In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media General Department at the ministry affirmed the continuation of online residency renewal procedures; stressing this is in line with the commitment of the ministry to facilitate procedures for the public, especially in light of the coronavirus crisis.

The department added the security sectors are keen on completing transactions electronically in order to save time and effort, expedite completion and protect public health.
