1,737 Flights Return 285,000 People Home After Eid

Reports from Al-Qabas daily indicate that Kuwait International Airport airlines have enhanced their preparations for the return of citizens and residents from abroad during Eid al-Adha. Until yesterday, 285,000 people had returned to the country after spending the Eid holidays on 1,737 flights.

It was reported that the Eid holiday coincided with pilgrims' travels and their returns from the Holy Land, as well as the summer travel season, and this increased the responsibilities of the airport agencies in facilitating travelers' departure and return.

Citing sources, it was reported that the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation had established a comprehensive plan to organize the flow of passengers at the Airport, which focused on doubling the number of employees at the gates, the transit area, and the departure and arrival areas, and taking numerous steps to alleviate congestion and to speed up the procedure of finishing the procedures efficiently, despite the doubling of flights, as well as the security checks at departure and arrival points, and the baggage checks, all procedures were completed smoothly, flexibly and without any.
