16 Transformers And 185 Power Cables Stolen In Salmiya
In a daring attempt thieves who were familiar with their modus operandi stole the cables of 16 power transformers in one day in the Salmiya area which from a location which is populated with buildings and shops.
An inspector working in the Ministry of Electricity reported to Salmiya area police station and filed 16 separate cases as felonies, stating that 185 electricity cables from 16 transformers of 20 meters each in length were stolen by cutting it. The perpetrators did not break the doors of the transformers it is believed that they used duplicate keys .
The case has been filed to arrest the perpetrators and take legal action
