11.59% Decrease In The Number Of Domestic Workers In The Country

Kuwait witnessed a sharp decline in the number of domestic workers in the country.

According to the figures issued by the Public Authority for Manpower, a decrease of 84,463, which is 11.59 percent, number of domestic workers reported from February to April. The decrease is either due to expiration and non-renewal, or due to leaving the country permanently.

According to April statistics, the total number of domestic workers registered in the Ministry of Interior reached 636,525 workers, compared to 719,988 in February.
