11,000 Egyptians Left In 3 Days

The pace of the increasing number of departures wishing to travel to their home countries continues, as the agencies operating in Kuwait airport mobilized yesterday to facilitate the departure of 6,180 passengers on 32 flights, which varied between India, Egypt and Jordan.

The Egyptian community topped the number of passengers and flights for the third day in a row, with a total of 11,000 departured over the course of just 3 days, of whom 4,500 left yesterday on 21 flights.

A source told Al-Qabas that the reopening of the Sohag station encouraged local and regional airlines to attract thousands of Egyptian passengers wishing to leave the country, by offering reduced offers for tickets.

The source added that the cabinet decision stipulates the fulfillment of the wishes of all airlines to transport nationals wishing to leave, by submitting an application to the Air Transport Department with their needs to organize departing flights
