11 Primary Healthcare Centers Opened By Moh To Help Smokers Quit

It was announced that the Ministry of Health had updated its work plan for a network of eleven primary health care centers distributed throughout the country to offer smoking cessation clinics.

An Arabic daily reports that a local health director, Dr. Dina Al-Dhubaib, has stated that clinics will offer assistance to the National Program for Tobacco Control and the Central Dept of Primary Health Care in celebration of the World No Tobacco Day.

He listed the following health centers where the service is available: Al-Rabiah Health Center in the Farwaniya District, Al-Oyoun in the Jahra District, Hawalli Al-Gharbi in the Hawalli District, Al-Dhahr and Ali Thunayan Al-Ghanim in the Capital Health District.
