11 Kuwaitis Arrested For Violating Curfew
Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 11 Kuwaitis, who were referred to the court for violating the nationwide curfew, which was imposed on March 22. Legal actions have been taken against them.
One was caught in Hawally, three in Al Farwaniya, three in Jahra, three in Mubarak Al-Kabeer and one in Al-Ahmadi Governorate.
Anyone caught breaching the curfew will be penalized with a jail term of up to three years and fined KD 10,000 pursuant to Civil Defense Law.
The curfew was decided as a result of noncompliance with health guidelines and instructions aimed at averting gatherings.
