1075 Expats Caught In 2019 With Expired Visas
Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Operations and Traffic, Major General Jamal Al Sayegh announced that 57,842 security reports registered in 2019, and the emergency police patrols dealt with 5,634 traffic accidents, and issued 38,347 traffic violations, Al Jarida reports.
According to statistics, the police were able to arrest 281 people against whom arrest warrants were issued, and 1025 persons with cases of absenteeism, and checks led to 2,136 persons arrested without identity proof.
The statistics also showed that police patrols dealt with 5,634 traffic accidents, while police patrols issued 38,000 traffic violations, as well 1075 expats, whose visas in the country has expired.
